Since 1971, a name that makes Italian fashion shine
Enny Monaco was born in the heart of Italian artisanal excellence. Since 1971, she has been creating jewelry that combines creativity, elegance, and quality — becoming over time a true symbol of Made in Italy.
In 1976, she participated as an exhibitor at SAMIA in Turin, the first fashion fair in Italy. Her collection caught the attention of journalist and event organizer Elsa Rossetti, who invited the brand to compete for the Fashion Oscar, promoted by the National Academy of Haute Couture.
A look back in time
On October 25, 1988, Enny Monaco inaugurated a franchised boutique in Dubai, inside the Hyatt Galleria. Around the hotel’s ice-skating rink, an international event took place, attended by diplomats, journalists, and fashion personalities.
It was one of the first examples of international expansion for an Italian costume jewelry brand.
The evolution of jewelry: from classic to “fantasy”
In the 1980s and ’90s, fashion evolved — and so did jewelry. Severe, minimal lines gave way to new shapes, unusual materials, bold proportions, and striking combinations. The so-called “fantasy jewelry” became a true protagonist.
Enny Monaco became a reference name in this new wave and was chosen by prestigious Italian fashion houses to enrich their collections. Among her collaborations:
